Under the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model, a partner — typically operating through a project-specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) — owns, finances and maintains the PV installation, while the building owner pays only for the power consumed. This removes upfront capital cost as a barrier to adoption and is increasingly the preferred route for commercial and institutional solar in India.
BAIPV4NZEC’s façade-mounted, retrofit-ready system is designed to fit naturally into this model: it requires no structural intervention on the host building, installs post-construction, and adapts to whatever orientation the building actually presents — opening up a class of urban buildings that rooftop-only RESCO offerings typically cannot reach.
